DREAMCATCHER is the first Swan 88 built by Nautor Swan and represents one of the most highly specified and technically advanced examples of the model. Conceived as a powerful bluewater performance cruiser, she combines the renowned design expertise of German Frers, Nautor Swan's exceptional build quality, an extensive custom specification, and an innovative hybrid-electric propulsion system.
Built for an experienced owner as his fifth Swan, DREAMCATCHER was specified well beyond the standard Swan 88 configuration. Notable enhancements include a full carbon SPRINT pre-preg hull, a Hall Spars hybrid modulus mast, continuous carbon fibre standing rigging, advanced Reckmann hydraulic furling systems, upgraded deck equipment, and additional MCA/MGN 280 Category 2 compliance features.
At the heart of her innovation is the fully integrated Torqeedo Deep Blue hybrid-electric propulsion system, combining a 129kW electric drive with approximately 160kWh of battery capacity. The system delivers silent cruising, hydrogeneration under sail, reduced fuel consumption, and exceptionally low noise and vibration levels while powering onboard systems without reliance on generators.
Having successfully completed more than 12,000 nautical miles, DREAMCATCHER offers proven reliability and impressive long-range cruising capability. The yacht also benefits from a two-year extended warranty, providing additional peace of mind for her next owner. Recognised with the Eco Award at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards, she stands at the forefront of sustainable yacht design while delivering the performance, comfort, and quality expected of a Swan.
Her layout features a luxurious forward owner's suite, guest accommodation amidships, a spacious saloon, and dedicated crew quarters aft with separate access. On deck, the Swan maxi-cruising concept ensures a clear separation between sailing operations and guest areas, creating a yacht equally suited to long-distance passagemaking and comfortable family cruising.
