The Swan 82 is one of the most successful maxi sailing yachts ever conceived and has proven to be the perfect ‘go-anywhere’ performance cruiser with regatta winning potential. Following the success of the flush deck and raised saloon models, the ‘S’ version was developed to create a sporty deck configuration while still allowing the engine and machinery to be installed below the elevated saloon floor. This allows for better trim of the yacht with the weight centered on top of the keel while also maximizing the interior volume with an additional 7m2 of floor space compared to the flush deck version.

The single level deck makes movement very easy without any steps between the transom, main companionway, and foredeck. The center cockpit features two C-shaped settees on either side with one table. Protected from the elements by a folding sprayhood and bimini, the center cockpit is a dedicated area for guests to relax and take meals away from the action. Sailing and maneuvering functions are concentrated in the aft section of the cockpit, near the twin helm positions.

Down below, the four-guest cabin interior, accommodating up to eight guests, is centered around the full beam main saloon. Master cabin and two guest cabins are located aft of the saloon while the fourth guest cabin is located forward and to port. The galley is located forward to starboard with the crew area in the bow accommodating two crew with a private head.
